Chiropody and podiatry is a subject that people may not necessarily know a lot about, so we have come up with a few questions that will hopefully get you through any anxieties you may have about treatment.
Frequently Asked Questions
    Does treatment hurt?

The best way to think of it is similar to having your hair cut, so you should not expect to receive any pain from treatment. Some conditions such as ingrowing  toenails may be sensitive but we can use anaesthetic in some cases, depending on the condition.

Should I be embarrassed by my feet?

We have dealt with feet of all shapes and sizes so you don’t need to feel like your feet are embarrassing.

Do I need a doctor’s referral to come see you?

No and you can book at a time that suits you.

What happens if I am ticklish?

We are trained to deal with sensitive feet so that you do not find treatment uncomfortable.

What is the difference between podiatry and chiropody?

Podiatry is when we examine the feet and lower leg, while chiropody is about cutting nails and removing hard skin.

If you need treatment, call us and we would be happy to help.
